Aims of Craft Hub : to help us feel happier and more relaxed by meeting up with others, just having a chat, sharing and learning new skills or just revisiting ones long forgotten. Friendly sessions are a mixture of funded sessions with a paid facilitator and informal drop in sessions.
Funded workshops have included Mosaic, Origami, Embroidery, clay and cloth. (These sessions ask for an affordable fee of £5). We also invited Cllr Asher Craig to tea to meet our members.
Drop in sessions have included Sketching, Decollage, Upcycling, Making and Mending,Bristol Rocks, planning what we want to do to do in funded sessions These sessions are £2 donation only to cover materials.
Craft Hub meets every Tuesday 11.00-1.00 in Hub Space, Jacobs Wells Baths. If people would like to stay a bit longer they are most welcome. Tea and Coffee available.
Bring along something you want to mend or make / do a drawing / or just have a natter and cup of tea. All most welcome.
